Prevention
As stated earlier, the cause of Parkinson's Disease is a mystery , therefore prevention for the disease is hard to pinpoint because of this there are no precise ways to prevent this horrible disease. Some research has found that free-radicals may be the cause of Parkinson's which means that a single atom or a group of atoms has one or more unpaired electron making it unstable. Researchers have suggested that intake of Antioxidants may help protect cells from damage caused by free-radicals. Antioxidants that may help are Vitamin E and C, Coenzyme Q10, Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, and Ginkgo biloba.
Some research also suggests that caffeine can help reduce the risk of developing Parkinson's Disease. There are various ways of consuming caffeine. One can drink coffee, tea, pop or foods rich in caffeine, such chocolate, ice cream, and energy water.
There have been studies that show that Parkinson's happens more frequently in farmers. Researchers are not sure of the exact reason why but one reason they believe to be the cause is that farmers deal with a lot of pesticides. Ways that pesticides can be harmful to humans are if they are inhaled, digested or come in contact with the skin or eyes. Pesticides have neurotoxins in them which can cause harm to the neurological system including the brain this helping it link to Parkinson's Disease. To prevent Parkinson's, particularly with people a genetic history of the disease, people should avoid living on farms at all costs.
To prevent the onset of Parkinson's symptoms such as rigidity, coordination, walking, movement, and any symptom related to motor control, exercise can help. While these will not stop the disease from attacking the brain and body, they can help control your degrees of freedom and can help prevent the severity of some of these symptoms.
